Mark Benner

Mark Benner is the founder of Mark Eric Benner - Architects, Ltd., professionally licensed in Illinois, Mark’s expertise is in bridging creative design from conception through construction using expert visual
communication.
Mark received his architectural training at Lawrence Technological University’s school of Architecture in Southfield, Michigan. He began his career, working as a rough-framing carpenter for a small building company.
Then Mark joined Schonsheck, Inc., a commercial design-build company designing and building masonry and pre-engineered metal buildings in Wixom, Michigan.
In the Fall of 1995, Mark then joined Orren Pickell Building Group’s architectural team, serving as principal for more than twelve years. There he pioneered the development of their Building Information Modeling (BIM) services.
In 2007 Mark launched an independent architectural practice, working with homeowners, builders, developers and collaborating with other architects and interior designers. As a collaborative leader and partner; clients, consultants, and contractors are afforded a comprehensive understanding of the project vision and challenges. The result is the creation of uniquely personal living and working spaces delivered both on-time and on-budget.
