The Minnesota PowerHouse SMART® community was born from a moment of inspiration and leadership.
In 2022, Elizabeth Cohen, then General Manager of Studio M Interiors in Minnesota, attended the Chicago Luxury Conference and experienced firsthand the unique spirit of collaboration and connection that defines the PowerHouse community. Inspired by the depth of relationships and shared leadership she witnessed, Elizabeth helped bring the PowerHouse vision to Minnesota.
Since its founding, the Minnesota community has quickly grown into a vibrant network of architects, designers, builders, and industry partners who value both professional excellence and authentic relationships.
Today the chapter is supported by a wonderful local Advisory Board and the leadership of Minnesota Director Leanne, helping guide its thoughtful expansion. With strong momentum, 2026 and 2027 represent exciting growth years for the Minnesota community, including the 3rd Annual PowerHouse SMART® Minnesota Luxury Conference on November 4, 2026.
Centered around the Minneapolis design community and the International Market Square district, the Minnesota chapter continues to grow through curated gatherings, leadership conversations, and opportunities for meaningful collaboration.
