Fusempls is a Minneapolis-based showroom and gallery located in International Market Square that specializes in luxury commercial and residential furniture, lighting, textiles, and accessories. Founded on principles of sustainability and modern design, it serves as a curated source for architects and designers, featuring high-end brands and art installations.
Emma Orfield Johnston is Director of Therapeutics and leads business development at Orfield Laboratories, Inc., the nation’s only independent multi-sensory design and research firm. Her work explores the relationship between human perception and wellness: specifically, the therapeutic potential of silence and darkness, and what decades of research into low-stimulus environments reveals about how people heal, rest, and function. She conducts ongoing research, including a federal study on PTSD in veterans, and accepts private clients in Orfield’s anechoic chamber, certified by Guinness World Records as the Quietest Place on Earth.

Jeffrey Shaw is a globally recognized expert on selling to the affluent and a sought-after speaker who transforms how luxury businesses attract and retain a high-end clientele. With over four decades of experience working with the world’s wealthiest individuals, he has mastered the art of understanding the luxury buyer mindset and elevating business strategies to extraordinary success.
As a preeminent portrait photographer, Jeffrey’s work has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CBS News, in People and O Magazine, and hang at Harvard University. His deep understanding of affluent clients’ complex behaviors and unspoken needs informs his expertise in luxury sales and marketing.
Jeffrey is the author of Sell to the Rich, LINGO, and The Self-Employed Life. He speaks at premier industry events such as the Interior Design Society, Luxury Home Design Summit, European Association of Home Staging Professionals, and many more.
