Sarah Montgomery Design is Chicago’s premier interior design firm working in historic homes throughout the city and beyond. Sarah is the CEO and principal designer of her namesake full-service firm. She passionately partners with discerning clients to create spaces that pay respect to their home’s history, celebrate the present, and make space for a new story to unfold. Sarah's resume is vast. She has a past life in set design and prop mastery, creating transformative worlds for Chicago's iconic theater scene. She spent close to a decade in luxury product design for leading brands and traveling the globe connecting with the top bespoke artisans. Today, she cultivates all of her expertise through her work as a luxury designer bringing it into the most important place, home.

Sarah’s favorite thing about Chicago is how it feels like a small, big city, the food, and of course getting an intimate portrait into the unique charm of its many neighborhoods. She is on the pulse of all things art and design, spending her free time going to design events, art openings and vintage shopping.
