Catie Trudeau

Catie loves bringing spaces to life with an eye for detail and a deep knowledge of the art and craft of horticultural design. Catie has been designing landscapes professionally for over 15 years. She has worked closely with homeowners and commercial developers to create finely appointed, intimate interior and exterior spaces across Chicago. Catie earned her Masters of Landscape Architecture degree from the College of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

We are an award-winning full-service landscape architecture design and construction management firm based in Chicago and licensed to practice in states across the country (WBE certification pending). We have, between us, decades of experience on a broad range of projects, including public parks and plazas, large mixed-use commercial developments, intimate home gardens, and many spaces in between. For every project, we work with our clients to understand their hopes and needs. We get to know the site and develop an understanding of its unique nature. We make drawings and arrange images to tell thoughtful stories about what is and what can be. As we work toward a vision for the space, we work with our clients to develop a budget as a tool for understanding and prioritizing the elements of the built landscape. With a shared vision and plan of attack, we manage the site and its key players through the construction process until the built landscape comes to life. We love working with a wide range of clients on projects of all shapes and sizes. ​
